Natural Stone is delicate

Marble, Limestone, Onyx, Terazzo, etc. These surfaces permanently "etch" when they are exposed to acidic substances, such as toilet bowl cleaners or tile cleaner products.

An etch appears to be a stain to the naked eye, but it is a permanent blemish on stone which can only be restored by a professional specializing in these types of surfaces.

Knowledge of chemicals and their alkaline vs acidic qualities is the only way a professional cleaner can keep from damaging your counters, floors and other fixtures.

Many well intending cleaning technicians have gotten into more trouble than they bargained for when cleaning expensive stone surfaces. A single "etch" may cost thousands of dollars to restore, due to the entire surface having to be "cut" to match the desired sheen of the final polish.

Our practice is insured against such accidents, but the inconvenience of having to call a restoration company is one we never intend to put you through.

No matter how shiny and impressive your precious natural stone may appear, the fact is that the microsopic pores are absorbent. An acidic cleaning product being applied to your stone will cause an immediate reaction, which is easily mistaken as a stain. Many unsuspecting owners buy products promising to remove the blemish, but only after failed attempts do they realize that the only solution involves a professional 'sanding' away layers of the stone, and then making a series of passes with finer and finer rotating pads until the surface becomes reflective, i.e. appearing "wet".

These are some of our procedures:

• Washrooms are sanitized with bactericidal and virucidal commercial cleaners. Floors are washed, mirrors are polished, and toilets and sinks are restored to a shine.
• The exterior surfaces of appliances are degreased and cupboards, countertops and stoves are thoroughly degreased and buffed.
• The dishwasher is loaded, and the inside and outside of the microwave oven is degreased.
• spider webs and other debris is removed from every corner.
• Lamps, decorations and picture frames are freed of dust.
• Trash cans are emptied and cleaned inside and out to remove lingering odors.
• Carpets and floors are vacuum cleaned.
• Shelves are wiped, as well as woodwork.
• Windowsills, ledges and baseboards are freed of dust.
• Marble and other natural stone is cleaned ONLY using proper, safe chemicals. We do not etch, cloud, or otherwise damage your natural stone finish.
• We remove dust and allergens from hard to reach and hard to see areas, to keep your business as free from allergens and dust as possible.
